There’s a lovely old English myth that if someone who truely loved and trusted the werewolf called it by name that it would turn back to human.
Others include throwing their human clothes at it and it’d turn back but that’s a bit less romantic
Als ich wie ein Vogel war | German Democratic Republic | Ostrock
• Because I felt nostalgic as fuck after watching Der Turm (The Tower) which chronicles the years of an East German family in the 1980s in Dresden. (it’s still available @ ARD Mediathek if you haven’t seen it yet. I’d recommend it, I thought it was good and I’m not just saying that because Jan Josef Liefers is in it.)
• Here’s a collection of songs from East Germany before the fall of the Berlin wall. Includes songs you might know if you know some 70s/80s East German music from that era, and some you might not. It could be interesting for all you non-English speakers what the youth listened to that grew up in a socialist state like the GDR.
(and Als ich wie ein Vogel war isn’t on here, because I couldn’t find a decent version on youtube and the audio quality of the film version was terrible…)
